How to Play Brick Breaker
Brick Breaker is the bat-and-ball classic: keep the ball in play and break every brick.
How to play
- Move the paddle with the mouse, your finger, or the ← → keys.
- Click, tap or press ↑ to launch the ball.
- The ball bounces off the walls, the top and your paddle. Where it hits the paddle sets the angle: the edges send it out sideways.
- A brick breaks when the ball hits it. Darker bricks with a stripe take two hits.
- If the ball falls past your paddle, you lose a ball. You have three.
Levels and score
- Five levels, each with its own pattern. The ball gets a little faster with every brick you hit.
- Each brick broken is worth 10 points (5 for the first hit on a tough brick).
- Clear all five levels for 100 bonus points per ball left.
Pausing
Space pauses; switching tabs pauses for you; the game is saved if you close the page.
