Cribbage Score Calculator
Choose your four cards and the starter (cut card). The calculator shows the total and lists every scoring combination: fifteens, pairs, runs, flushes and nobs. Hover over or focus an item to highlight its cards. It uses the same scoring code as our cribbage game, so the numbers always match the game.

Tips for using it
- It starts with the famous 29 hand (5-5-5-J with a matching 5 cut). Change one card to see how fast the score drops.
- To decide what to throw, compare the hands you could keep. A hand's value depends on the starter, so try a few likely starters, such as a ten card or a 5.
- Each card can only be used once. If you pick the same card twice, the calculator tells you.

Frequently asked questions
How does the calculator count the crib differently?
Tick "This is the crib". The only difference is the flush: a crib needs all four crib cards and the starter in one suit (5 points); four cards alone don't count.
Does the calculator include pegging points?
No. It counts a hand in the show (four cards plus the starter). Pegging points are scored during the play; see the scoring page for those.
