How to play
- One player takes the solids (1–7), the other the stripes (9–15). The first ball you pot after the break decides.
- Hit one of your own balls first. After that a ball must drop or touch a cushion, or it's a foul.
- Pot one of yours and you shoot again. A foul gives your opponent the cue ball anywhere on the table.
- When your group is cleared, pot the 8 to win.
- Pot the 8 too early, or scratch while potting it, and you lose.
