How to play
- Six cards each from a 24-card deck (9 to ace); a turned-up card names trumps. Ace 11, ten 10, king 4, queen 3, jack 2.
- Play any card while the stock lasts; the trick winner draws first and leads. Once it's closed or empty you must follow suit and head the trick if you can.
- Lead a king or queen holding its partner to declare a marriage: 20 points, 40 in trumps.
- Swap the nine of trumps for the turned-up trump card, or close the stock to play out the hand strictly.
- First to claim 66 wins the hand for 1, 2 or 3 game points; first to 7 wins the match.
