How to Play Yin-Yang
Yin-Yang paints the grid in two interlocking shapes: one white, one black, each a single connected region, winding around each other without ever thickening into a 2×2 block.
The rules
- Fill every square with a white or a black circle. Some are given.
- All white circles form one connected group (along sides); so do all black circles.
- No 2×2 block of squares is entirely one colour.
Playing on kawu
- Tap a square to cycle white → black → empty. Given circles have a dot in the middle and don't change.
- A warning appears if a 2×2 block of one colour exists.
- Undo steps back; Hint fixes a wrong circle or places a correct one.
- Sizes 6×6, 8×8 and 10×10; the daily puzzle is an 8×8 shared by everyone.

Frequently asked questions
Do diagonal neighbours count as connected?
No. Circles connect only along shared sides. Two whites touching at a corner are not joined.
Why can't a 2×2 block be one colour?
It's the rule that keeps the two regions thin and tangled. Without it the puzzle would be trivial.
