How to play
- A 7×7 board; each player has one pawn, starting in the middle of opposite edges.
- On your turn, step your pawn one square in any of the eight directions onto a remaining empty square, then remove any remaining square that has no pawn on it.
- Removed squares are gone for good; pawns cannot step onto them or onto the other pawn.
- The player who cannot step on their turn loses.
- Cut the board so that your side keeps more squares than theirs.
