How to play
- Four players in two partnerships, ten cards each from a 40-card deck. You sit South; your partner is North.
- The dealer's last card names the trump and stays in their hand. The player to the dealer's right leads and play goes anticlockwise.
- Follow suit if you can; otherwise play anything, trump or not. Ranking: ace, 7, king, jack, queen, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2.
- Points: ace 11, seven 10, king 4, jack 3, queen 2. More than 60 scores one game point, 91 or more two, all 120 four; 60–60 doubles the next hand.
- First partnership to four game points wins.
