How to play
- A 40-card deck (ace, 2–7, jack, queen, king); eight cards each, the next card turned up as trump, the rest the stock.
- While the stock lasts you may play any card. The trick winner draws first and leads. Afterwards you must follow suit and beat the led card if you can, or trump when void.
- Ace 11, three 10, king 4, queen 3, jack 2; the last trick is worth 10.
- Winning a trick while holding the king and queen of a suit declares them: 40 in trump, 20 otherwise, once per suit. Four kings or four queens win the game at once.
- The higher total wins.
